Itinerary
Day 1 · Sacred Valley to the camp above Huchuyqosco
About 9.3 km · Highest point 4,399 m a.s.l. · Lunch and dinner included
We pick you up at your hotel at 6:00 a.m. and drive for about 1 hour to Piuray Lagoon, on the road to Chinchero, where the trek begins. There we meet our muleteers and horses, and we start along an ancient ascending stretch of Inca road, passing a lake on the way to the pass at about 4,400 m a.s.l.
Then we begin to descend through a gorge surrounded by Inca walls and houses until we reach Huchuyqosco, where we camp. Our campsite is an Inca terrace above the complex, overlooking the Sacred Valley and its impressive mountains, with ruins below.

Day 2 · Huchuyqosco to Lamay and back to your hotel
About 4.5 km · Ends at 2,943 m a.s.l. · Breakfast and packed lunch included
After breakfast, we visit the important Inca complex, home of the great Inca Wiracocha. Take a moment to breathe, look around and enjoy the quiet.
Afterwards, a 2-hour descent leads you to Lamay, while the mountains, towns and harvest fields of the Sacred Valley open up in front of you. Our vehicle waits for you there and takes you back to your hotel.
