This Cancellation, Penalties and Credits Policy has been established in accordance with <strong>Law No. 29571 \u2013 Consumer Protection and Defense Code<\/strong>, and other applicable regulations for tourism services in Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By confirming a reservation, the client and\/or agency\/partner acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these conditions, which become binding from the moment the reservation is confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. General Rule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A reservation is considered confirmed once the corresponding payment has been received and complete passenger information has been provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any cancellation is subject to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicable penalties depending on the type of service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-refundable services already issued<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supplier policies (hotels, trains, airlines, DDC, and others)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Penalty percentages apply <strong>per passenger<\/strong>, even when the service was booked as private or group travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Non-Refundable Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Certain travel components may be non-refundable from the moment of confirmation, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Machu Picchu entrance tickets (DDC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inca Trail permits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Government services and fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Issued train tickets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Issued airline tickets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotional fares<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Services already provided in whole or in part<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Cancellations \u2013 Services WITHOUT Machu Picchu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>(Day tours, excursions, and activities)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applies to services that do not require DDC entrance tickets or train ticket issuance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>More than 30 days before travel: <strong>20% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>29 to 8 days before travel: <strong>40% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 to 3 days before travel: <strong>60% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>48 hours or less \/ No Show: <strong>100% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Cancellations \u2013 Services WITH Machu Picchu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>(DDC \/ Inca Trail \/ trekking \/ trains)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applies to services that include Machu Picchu entrance tickets, DDC permits, Inca Trail permits, treks of 2 or more days, or train tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For these bookings, the <strong>50% deposit is non-refundable<\/strong> from the moment of confirmation due to immediate purchases, permits, and ticket issuance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional penalties apply as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>More than 60 days before travel: <strong>60% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Between 59 and 30 days before travel: <strong>80% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>29 days or less \/ No Show: <strong>100% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Cancellations \u2013 Travel Packages (2 or More Days)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">a) Individual Travelers (FIT)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>More than 30 days before travel: <strong>40% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>29 to 15 days before travel: <strong>60% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14 days or less \/ No Show: <strong>100% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">b) Groups (8 or More Passengers)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>More than 60 days before travel: <strong>60% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>59 to 30 days before travel: <strong>80% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>29 days or less \/ No Show: <strong>100% penalty<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Credit Policy (No Cash Refunds)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Santu Tour Operador does not issue cash refunds, except in exceptional cases where a supplier authorizes a direct refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When applicable, any approved amount in favor of the client may be issued as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Travel credit valid for <strong>1 year<\/strong> for future bookings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transferable to a direct family member<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact
