This Cancellation, Penalties and Credits Policy is formulated in accordance with Law No. 29571 \u2013 Consumer Protection and Defense Code, and other applicable regulations for tourism services in Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The client and\/or agency\/partner declares having read, understood and expressly accepted these conditions, which are binding from the moment the reservation is confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:30px\"><strong>1. General Rule<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A reservation is considered confirmed once the corresponding payment has been made and the passenger\u2019s complete data has been received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any cancellation is subject to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">penalties depending on the type of service,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">non-refundable services already issued,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">supplier policies (hotels, trains, airlines, DDC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Penalty percentages apply per passenger, even when the service was booked as private or group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:30px;padding-bottom:0px\"><strong>2. Non-Refundable Services (Suppliers and Official Entities)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The client acknowledges that certain travel components may be non-refundable from the moment of confirmation, including, among others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">Machu Picchu entrance tickets (DDC).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">Inca Trail permits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">Government services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">Issued train tickets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">Issued air tickets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">Promotional fares.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">Services already executed in full or in part.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:30px\"><strong>3. Cancellations \u2013 Services WITHOUT Machu Picchu <\/strong><br><strong>    (Day tours and activities)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applies to day tours, excursions and activities that do not include the purchase of DDC entrance tickets or the issuance of train tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">More than 30 days: 20% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">29\u20138 days: 40% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">7\u20133 days: 60% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">48 hours or less \/ No show: 100% penalty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:30px\"><strong>4. Cancellations \u2013 Services WITH Machu Picchu <\/strong><br>    <strong>(DDC \/ Inca Trail \/ trekking \/ trains)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applies to services that include the purchase of Machu Picchu entrance tickets and\/or DDC permits, including the Inca Trail, treks of 2 days or more, and services that require the issuance of train tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this type of reservation, the 50% deposit is considered NON-REFUNDABLE from confirmation, due to non-recoverable purchases and issuances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the following penalties apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">More than 60 days: 60% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">Between 59 and 30 days: 80% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">29 days or less \/ No show: 100% penalty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:30px\"><strong>5. Cancellations \u2013 Travel Packages (2 or more days)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>a) Individual travelers (FIT)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">More than 30 days: 40% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">29\u201315 days: 60% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">14 days or less \/ No show: 100% penalty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>b) Groups (8 or more passengers)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">More than 60 days: 60% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">59\u201330 days: 80% penalty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:8px\">29 days or less \/ No show: 100% penalty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:30px\"><strong>6.
