The Legend of Pitusiray and Sawasiray
Orqo Waranqa, curaca people of Urco had a beautiful daughter named Pitusiray, princess of the Yungas. The couple had fallen in love with a handsome known as Sawasiray. The land was curaca where water shortages made it unproductive. Therefore offered the hand of Pitusiray who would lead the water to dry furrows. Kuntisiray and Sawasiray, lords of neighboring counties, disputed the lead. Sawasiray tried to drive the water through the slope of the hill 'Sunqu Qhata "and the short time available in their attempt failed. The lucky Kuntisiray built a large pit on a hill and water started to go down the platforms of a ravine, and won. The princess, overwhelmed with the outcome, could do nothing but obey the orders of his father. His marriage to Kuntisiray was pompous. But a stormy night, he ran for Pitusiray Sawasiray and he fled into the hills of the mountains, thinking they could beat up and take refuge in distant lands. Made by the warriors of Orqo Waranqa and offended Kuntisiray, lovers became petrified and turned into two snowy mountains. Currently, there are two behind Calca snowscape that are Pitusiray and Sawasiray, and behind the two mountains is the Kuntisiray.
