For rockers, Cusco has many areas for rock climbing, as Pachar (Urubamba), Las Queuñas, Cachimayo, Suykutambo, among others. Existing open roads have grades ranging from quarts to sétimos such as the Chacan (7b), Considered the hardest route of Cusco. The major routes are Pachar sports, where there are tracks fitted to 80 meters of a wall that is still virgin in its entirety (700 m approx.).

Via Ferrata

The route is 300 meters tall at Pachar between Urubamba and Ollantaytambo, 8 km from Ollantaytambo.
A via ferrata is a type of climbing a mountain path with a safety system permanently installed, it gives people without any experience in climbing and using a minimum of equipment, the opportunity to move through spectacular mountain scenery.
The scale is all the time clinging to a steel cable that runs the entire route, usually does not require any climbing rope. Metal ladders, bridges and similar facilities are used. This helps maintain the physical difficulty of climbing and skills mix of beginner climbers while providing access to a very high, and extreme vertical of a mountain that could only be accessible to experienced rock climbers.
