Snowy Chicon 3 Days / 2 Nights (5200 m.a.s.l.)
Difficulty: Moderate

The snowy Chicón is a beautiful mountain located in the Cordillera of Urubamba, easily viewed from Chincheros and from the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is considered a mountain of difficult access but at the mountain landscapes are really beautiful and worth the sacrifice.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Cusco - Urubamba (2950 m.) - Base Camp (4400 m.)

We left early because they will be strong enough one days since the trek is uphill. The car takes us to the Valley Chicón very close to the area of promotion. After walking for 5 hours we arrived at our camp.

Day 2: Base Camp - Summit (5200 m.) - Base Camp

We left early due to the glacier. In about 2 hours. Arrive at the gaps in the snowy Chicón. We continue the climb up the peak of the hill for 1 hour and then walk on the glacier over 3 hours to the summit. From here we have beautiful views of the Valley, Chincheros and ponds nearby. The return to camp we do in 3 hours.

Day 3: Base Camp - Urubamba - Cusco

We left early to go down 2 hours into the Valley Chicón and 2 hours more until the road where we expected our car to transport us to Urubamba, where we have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will arrive to Cusco.

Snowy Helancoma & Huacratanka 3 Days / 2 Nights (5350 and 5200 m.a.s.l.)
Difficulty: Moderate

This route will climb 2 mountains in 3 days; these are the snowy Helancoma of 5350 m. and Huacratanka of 5200 m. Those mountains are easily accessible and surrounded by beautiful Andean landscapes, as well as conservative farming communities called huayruros.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Tastayoc - Base Camp (4600 m.)

Leave early from Cusco to Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. From here begins the climb towards the farming community Tastayoc, we'll begin our ascent to our base camp which will arrive in 3 hours. Camp beside a beautiful lagoon in front of the Nevado Huacratanka.

Day 2: Base Camp - Summit Helancoma (5350 m.) - Base Camp

Early start the climb by 4 hours approximately. Up to the summit of snowy Helancoma. After enjoying the landscape down to 2 hours to our camp site.

Day 3: Base Camp - Summit Huacratanka (5200 m.) - Tastayoc - Cusco

Leave early due to the snow Huacratanka. By 2 hours walk to the base of the snow and then 3 hours to climb to the summit of Snowy Huacratanka. Then descend into the valley of Tastayoc for 2 hours. This day we have the support of altitude porters. After preparing the equipment and a rest we return to Cusco.

Snowy Campa 4 Days / 3 Nights (5450 m.a.s.l.) Difficulty: Moderate

This is in the snowy Cordillera Vilcanota in the vicinity of Mount Ausangate. It is easy to climb and has excellent views from its summit, from which you can see most of the mountains and lakes of this range.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Cusco - Tinki

We traveled by car for 5 hours to the town of Ocongate and 30 minutes more until Tinki located at 3850 m. Here spend the night in a typical hostel.

Day 2: Tinki - Pacchanta (4250 m.) - Base Camp (4700 m.)

After breakfast we started our trek by 5 hours due to Pacchanta, delighting a really wonderful scene. Camp close to the moraine of Nevado Campa. Moreover since our camp will have an impressive view of the Nevado Pucapunta also called Pacchanta.

Day 3: Ascent to the summit (5450 m.) - Base Camp

We left early to be early at the top. You need 2 hours to reach the base of the glacier and over 3 hours to reach the summit of Nevado Campa. After 2 hours down to our campsite. The route is fairly easy, with few cracks and offers a beautiful panorama.

Day 4: Base Camp-Tinki - Cusco

1 hours walk to the town of Pacchanta, where we take a swim in its waters. Then we continue the walk for 5 hours until Tinki, where the car will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.

Snowy Yayamari 5 Days / 4 Nights (6040 m.a.s.l.)
Difficulty: Moderate

Itinerary:

Day 1: Cusco-Phinaya (4700 m.)

We leave Cusco early and travel by 7 hours. On the way pass lagoon Sibinacocha and appreciate all the peaks of the Cordillera Vilcanota, until in the afternoon to Phinaya.

Day 2: Phinaya - Base Camp (5200 m.)

We started walking early in the 5 to 6 hours on the road appreciate Casccara lagoon and the mountains that surround it (you will find a delicious dinner for trout). In the afternoon we reached our base camp and make a reconnaissance team and route

Day 3: Base Camp - Camp 1

We will have 5 hours a day, 2 hours in the last glacier, afternoon reconnaissance and road opening.

Day 4: Camp 1 - Summit (6400 m.) - Base Camp

Begin the day at 3.00 am, climb 6 hrs approx. until you get to the summit. After resting and taking photos, we descend to Camp 1 and then to base camp at approx. 5 hours. Already in the camp will have a dinner celebration.

Day 5: Base Camp - Phinaya

Snowy Ausangate 10 Days / 9 Nights (6372 m.a.s.l.)
Difficulty: Technical Environment

The Ausangate snow is the most important of Cusco, not only for its height but also for its importance in the Andean culture. Apu is the highest since time immemorial. The peasants of the area who reported a number of myths about this mountain and the sacred rites to be done to rise, this makes it much more attractive to climb this sacred mountain of the Incas.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Cusco - Tinki - Upis (4200 m.)

We leave Cusco at 6:00 a.m. 5 hours and to travel to the village of Tinqui, passing through picturesque villages along the river valley Huatanay and beautiful expanses of land. Then we continued our trip by 30 minutes more until Upis (4140m) where we will camp in front of the majestic Ausangate snow. Observe the habits of high-Andean villagers in this area and also enjoy the presence of large numbers of alpacas.

Day 2: Upis - Baths

After a nutritious breakfast will begin a 4 hours walk to the hot springs, where we will camp at the foot of snow.

Day 3: Baths of Upis - Pucacocha Laguna (4575 meters)

After breakfast, very early, go back step Arapa (4700 m.) and then descend to the gaps Pucacocha known names Pucacocha Heaton, Viracocha and Huchuy Pucacocha, where we will have great views and we can also appreciate various species of Andean birds. Camp beside the lake.

Day 4: Laguna Pucacocha - Base Camp (4800 m.)

After breakfast we start walking towards the mountain of Ausangate (5000 m) from where it is observed Ausangatecocha, beautiful turquoise lake. It then descends to the lake and then climb again towards the open Palomani (5200 m.). Since the passage is an impressive view of the Ausangate snowy and Mariposa snowy. Day 5: Base Camp

We spend all day at this camp for acclimatization, while the mountain porters carry the equipment and technical supplies to Camp 1.

Day 6: Base Camp - Camp 1 (5700 m.)

Day 7: Camp 1 - Summit (6372 m.)

Day 8: Camp 1 - Base Camp

Day 9: Base camp - Ninaparayoc

This day we will have a long day but with magnificent scenery and mountains. In this valley we will find the peak of the hill, who has more than 6000 m. high. Also watch the Nevados of Callangates and Pucapunta. On the left we see the snowy Campa, who is popular and sometimes serves as an acclimatization climb to the snowy Ausangate. Day 10: Ninaparayoc - Pacchanta

After walking 3 hours to get Pacchanta which is a nice town where you will find a pleasant and rewarding spa. Here we have a typical lunch called Pachamanca (stone oven) that is prepared with meat from young alpaca. After lunch we returned to Tinki where the car will be waiting to take us to Cusco
